Privacy Policy

according to Article 13 of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and according to Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on the amendment and supplementation of certain acts.

  1. Introduction
    1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") governs the manner in which Geniuso, s. r. o., with its registered office at Rudohorská 33, Banská Bystrica 974 11, Slovakia, Company ID: 43 969 721 (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") processes personal data of Users in connection with the provision of digital content services through the Geniuso Smart Kids application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application").
  2. Collected Personal Data
    2.1. The Provider collects the following personal data from Users during registration in the Application:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Country of Origin

        2.2. The Provider automatically collects data about the use of the Application during its use. Usage data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol address  (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

         When you access the Application through a mobile device, we may automatically collect certain information, including but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

          We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Application or when you access the Application through a mobile device.

  1. Purpose of Data Processing
    3.1. Users' personal data is processed for the following purposes:
  • Registration and Management of the Administrator Account: To create and manage an administrator account in the Application.
  • Provision of Services: To provide and personalize services within the Application.
  • Handling Complaints: For handling complaints in accordance with the Terms of Service.
  • Communication: To send information related to the Application, such as updates or other important notices.
  1. Legal Basis for Processing
    4.1. The processing of personal data is based on:
  • Consent: The User consents to the processing of personal data during registration.
  • Performance of a Contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, which includes the provision of services.

    5.1. Personal data will be retained for the duration of the User Account and for up to 1 year after its termination, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

    7.1. Personal data will not be shared with third parties, except when it is necessary to fulfill legal obligations or to provide the services offered.

  • To Rectification: To request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • To Erasure: To request the deletion of personal data if it is no longer needed for processing purposes.
  • To Restrict Processing: To request the restriction of the processing of their data.
  • To Data Portability: To request the transfer of their personal data to another processor.
  • To Object: To object to the processing of personal data in cases where processing is based on legitimate interest.

    9.1. The Provider reserves the right to change this Policy. Any changes will be communicated to the User via email or by displaying them within the Application. The new version of the Policy will take effect on the date of its publication on this page.
