Instructions for Geniuso pen - model V500 - (yellow):

  • Download the .xbl file of the book by right-clicking on it - select Save Link As... and save it to your computer.
  • Note that the name of each .xbl file starts with a number.
  • Connect the pen to your computer using a USB-C cable.
  • Copy the appropriate .xbl file from your computer to the pen. You must copy the file to a subfolder with the same number as the one at the beginning of the.xbl file name. All subfolders with .xbl file numbers can be found in the GENIUSO BOOKS folder.
  • When updating the .xbl file, delete the original xbl version from the subfolder.
  • If the subfolder with the .xbl file number does not exist, create it first and name it with the .xbl file number. A subfolder must be created in the GENIUSO BOOKS folder.

How to make a different language version active in the Home icon:

 

If you wish to use the Home icon to switch to a different available language, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the pen to your computer and open the GENIUSO BOOKS folder.
  2. Open one of the subfolders valid for the Home icon: 62104 – FOOD, 62110 – ANIMALS, 62116 – THE HUMAN BODY, 62122 – HOME AND FAMILY, 62128 – SHAPES AND COLOURS, 62134 – SEASONS, 62140 – NUMBERS.
  3. Copy the XBL language version to the appropriate above listed subfolder.
  4. Rename the copied file so that it starts with the same number as other files in the subfolder.
  5. Disconnect the pen and turn it.
  6. Now each time you place the pen on the HOME icon, it will switch between the language versions present in the subfolder.
  7. You can also delete any files in the subfolder and keep just one version only.

Instructions for Geniuso pen - model A30 L - (white):

1. The file can be downloaded by right-clicking it and selecting the option “Save link as...”

2. Connect the pen to the computer using a USB cable and copy the file from your computer to the pen’s AP4 folder.

3. Then remove the original AP4 file from the AP4 folder.

How to change a language in the HOME language icon:

If you have more than one file name with the same number at the beginning of the file name (in the AP4 folder of the pen), repeatedly placing the pen to the language icon or the HOME icon will switch between languages ​​with the identical file name number. (For example: If Slovak and Hungarian have the same file number at the beginning of the files, when placing the pen on the HOME icon, the pen will switch between Slovak and Hungarian. In this way you can rename the file of any language so that it becomes active when placing the pen on the HOME icon.)
